Our story
We are a team of local Delco guys that had the idea to start up a urgent care when Delaware County Memorial hospital closed down. We recognized the major void created by the hospital's closure, and wanted to ensure the neighborhood could maintain access to acute care when our neighbors needed it most. We aim to provide great medical care without the long wait times plaguing other nearby facilities. Our team is made up exclusively of highly experienced emergency medicine providers, who are very capable and compassionate in your time of need. We opened our doors in February 2025.
Our history
Dr. Whalen and DJ Bachovin PA-C have worked together in the Lankenau Emergency Department for 15 years. Both have served in leadership roles in the department for years, gaining experience handling everything from major traumas and life threatening medical problems, to minor injuries and illnesses. We both understand the hardships urgent medical problems can create, and strive to provide great urgent medical care when you need it most.
Matt Moran
Matt is our practice manager and "jack of all trades"! From training all non-provider staff members on our documentation system, to checking patients in and out, to running certain medical tests in the lab, to scheduling staff, and making sure the office is stocked with everything we need, you will be sure to see his amazing smile around the office, making sure patients and staff are comfortable and well-taken care of!
Our Facility
Our office is freshly renovated, consisting of brand new construction and furniture. We have X-rays, EKGs, Labs, and much more available on site! We pride ourselves on a clean office that is warm and inviting.
